Loki is a 2021 American television series produced by Marvel Studios for the streaming platform Disney+. The show is based on the Marvel character Loki and serves as the third television series within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), maintaining continuity with the associated film productions. Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), this series follows an alternate version of Loki who created a new timeline. Michael Waldron developed the show, with Waldron serving as head writer and Kate Herron directing the first season. For the second season, Eric Martin became head writer while Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead led the directing team.

Tom Hiddleston reprised his role as Loki in both seasons, appearing alongside Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Jonathan Majors, and Neil Ellice. Additional cast members included Sasha Lane, Jack Veal, DeObia Oparei, and Richard E. Grant in the first season, with Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Ke Huy Quan, and Richard Dixon joining for the second. In September 2018, Marvel Studios began developing multiple limited series for Disney+, focusing on secondary figures from the MCU films. A project featuring Hiddleston as Loki was confirmed in November 2018. Waldron was hired by February 2019, and Herron joined the team by August of that year. Eric Martin, who contributed as a writer during the first season, was announced in February 2022 as the sole writer for the second season, with Benson and Moorhead directing most of its episodes; Dan DeLeeuw and Kasra Farahani also directed portions of the second season. Principal photography took place in Atlanta, Georgia during the first season, while the second season was filmed in the United Kingdom.

The series debuted on June 9, 2021. Its initial run, made up of six episodes, ended on July 14 and formed part of Phase Four of the MCU. Critics responded favorably, especially praising the acting. The second season, also containing six episodes, aired from October 5 to November 9, 2023, marking Phase Five of the franchise. This season garnered positive reviews as well, with particular acclaim for its ending, musical soundtrack, and character development of Loki.
