Dug Days, also titled Up: Dug Days, is an American animated series of shorts developed, written, and directed by Bob Peterson under the banner of Pixar Animation Studios initially for Disney+. The show takes place right after the 2009 movie Up, focusing on the main characters, dog Dug, voiced by Peterson, and his owner, 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen, voiced by Ed Asner, who appears in one of his final roles before passing away.

The series was unveiled in December 2020 during Disney's Investor Day, when Peterson proposed a concept centered on Dug following his work on Forky Asks a Question. Animators updated character designs with new animation rigging, textures, and hair to reflect improvements in CG technology since the original film. Because of the COVID-19 outbreak in the U.S., most of the final animation was completed remotely from home, and voice recordings were done off-site.

The first five episodes of Dug Days debuted on September 1, 2021, on Disney+. Critics responded favorably, praising the performances, themes, role models, comedy, and emotional resonance.

Carl's Date, the sixth and last episode, premiered in theaters as a short alongside Pixar’s Elemental on June 16, 2023.
