Drag Race Italia 2021
Drag Race Italia is an Italian reality competition series inspired by the American format RuPaul's Drag Race, belonging to the Drag Race franchise. The show is made by World of Wonder for Discovery+ in Italy and later broadcast free-to-air on Real Time (seasons 1–2) and, from season three onward, on Paramount+. It can also be viewed globally through WOW Presents Plus.
This series marks the eighth international version of the American reality show RuPaul's Drag Race.
The show launched on 19 November 2021 via Discovery+. Episodes originally aired weekly every Thursday and later moved to primetime on Real Time. Beginning with season three, it debuted on streaming service Paramount+ before transitioning to MTV for primetime broadcasts.
Elecktra Bionic took first place in the inaugural season, with Farida Kant and Le Riche finishing second, while Luquisha Lubamba received the Miss Congeniality award. In March 2022, the series was ordered again for a second season, which was won by La Diamond. The show was renewed for a third season in March 2023.
