Dr. Brain 2021
Dr. Brain represents a South Korean television series developed by Kim Jee-woon. This sci-fi thriller adapts the original webtoon titled similarly, created by Hongjacga. Lee Sun-kyun plays the main character, a brain researcher investigating his family's unexplained deaths through brain hacking techniques. The production marks the inaugural Korean-language program for Apple TV+. Its release occurred on November 4, 2021 coinciding with the streaming platform's South Korean debut.
Multiple sources confirmed on January 27, 2022 that a second season was planned for Dr. Brain. Unfortunately, Lee Sun-kyun passed away on December 27, 2023, preventing any potential continuation of the series.
