Chad is an American television sitcom written and starring Nasim Pedrad. The show debuted on April 6, 2021 through TBS.

In February 2016, the show was initially purchased by Fox and greenlit as a series in 2016 under the name Chad: An American Boy. It featured a concept centered on a "14-year-old boy navigating adolescence while taking on adult responsibilities", with the pilot script penned by Pedrad and Rob Rosell. In August 2016, it was reported that the project would not proceed at Fox, and instead would be offered to different networks. In May 2019, TBS picked up the show for a 10-episode run. In May 2021, the network renewed the series for a second season. In July 2022, TBS announced that although the second season had been completed, no third season would be made, and the program was officially canceled just hours before its debut, as the channel shifted focus away from original scripted programming.

On October 26, 2022, The Roku Channel obtained rights to the show and broadcast the second season on January 19, 2024. Although critics generally responded favorably, viewers largely disliked the series but later developed a devoted fanbase. On May 7, 2024, The Roku Channel discontinued the show after its second season.
