American Horror Stories 2021
American Horror Stories is a 2026 American horror anthology television series directed by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk for FX on Hulu. The show functions as a direct spin-off and companion to American Horror Story, marking the third entry in the American Story franchise. Unlike American Horror Story, which generally presents a new narrative each season (with one exception), American Horror Stories contains a distinct story within each episode, except for the two-part pilot and the connected finale of season one.
Familiar faces from the original series, typically portraying new characters, are Matt Bomer, Celia Finkelstein, Naomi Grossman, John Carroll Lynch, Charles Melton, Billie Lourd, Chad James Buchanan, Cody Fern, Dylan McDermott, Jamie Brewer, Denis O'Hare, Matt Lasky, Gabourey Sidibe, Max Greenfield, Austin Woods, Seth Gabel, Rebecca Dayan, Cameron Cowperthwaite, Spencer Neville, Teddy Sears, Jeff Hiller, Casey Thomas Brown, and Nick Jacobs.
American Horror Stories debuted on Hulu in July 15, 2021. It became the most successful launch of any FX on Hulu series ever. Season two launched in July 2022, while season three was released in two parts, in October 2023 and October 2024.
