The Zone: Survival Mission 2022
The Zone: Survival Mission is a South Korean game television series featuring Yoo Jae-suk, Lee Kwang-soo, Kwon Yuri, Kim Dong-hyun, and Dex. These participants are referred to as the "agents of mankind" and take part in eight disaster simulations where they must endure for four hours. The show debuted on Disney+ on September 8, 2022, with the initial three episodes released simultaneously.
Cho Hyo-jin produces the series, having often worked with Yoo Jae-suk and previously created programs like Running Man, X-Man, Family Outing, and Busted!.
Confirmation came on November 30, 2022 that a second season was being developed. The first three episodes of season 2 launched on Disney+.
On March 11, 2024, Disney+ announced the third season would include two newcomers, Kim Dong-hyun and Dex, while Lee Kwang-soo would depart. The opening three episodes of season 3 appeared on Disney+.
