A 2022 American miniseries, The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, was created by Rachel Ramras, Hugh Davidson, and Larry Dorf. The plot centers on a heartbroken woman convinced she saw a murder, despite others dismissing her claims.
The project began development in late-2020, drawing inspiration from women-focused mystery thriller literature and television. Principal photography occurred in California during 2021. The eight-part series premiered on Netflix January 28, 2022, achieving top ratings in its initial week of release in the United States. Critics offered varied assessments of the production, and it earned three People's Choice Award nominations.
