Wuthering Heights (stylized with quotation marks) represents a 2026 romantic period drama film crafted by Emerald Fennell who produced, wrote and directed. Inspired by the 1847 novel from Emily Brontë, this adaptation aims to "recreate the feeling of a teenage girl reading this book for the first time" according to Fennell's vision. Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi portray Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff respectively, with Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, Alison Oliver, Martin Clunes, and Ewan Mitchell appearing in supporting capacities.
The film debuted at Grauman's Chinese Theatre located in Los Angeles, California on January 28, 2026, followed by distribution in the United Kingdom and United States through Warner Bros. Pictures on February 13. Critics offered mixed assessments of the production, yet it achieved commercial success, earning $242 million globally while its production cost reached $80 million.
