A 2023 American romantic comedy film, You People stars Hill and features an ensemble cast including Lauren London, David Duchovny, Nia Long, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Eddie Murphy. The story centers on a secular Jewish man from the liberal elite and a black nationalist Nation of Islam woman with antisemitic parents. Their relationship explores how families navigate modern love, cultural conflicts, and generational divides in the Los Angeles area. The two millennials meet unexpectedly and enter unfamiliar territory in their dating experiences.

Directed by Kenya Barris, who also co-wrote the film with Jonah Hill, it marks Barris's first time directing a feature film. Critics have compared the movie to Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967), but with more intense tensions regarding African American–Jewish relations. The film opened in select theaters on January 20, 2023 and was made available for Netflix streaming on January 27. It garnered mixed reviews from critics.
