Thriller

The Death of Robin Hood represents a 2026 American thriller featuring Hugh Jackman in the role of Robin Hood, presenting a somber interpretation of the 17th-century ballad Robin Hood's Death. This production was both written and directed by Michael Sarnoski, while Jodie Comer, Bill Skarsgård, Murray Bartlett, and Noah Jupe appear in supporting capacities, with additional appearances by Faith Delaney and Clive Russell. The narrative centers on an elderly Robin who suffers from guilt over his outlaw history and resides in voluntary isolation. Following injury during combat with an elderfather, Robin seeks shelter at a priory where he develops relationships with the prioress and an orphaned child.
