A 2023 American animated adventure comedy film, Migration features story development by Mike White and Benjamin Renner, with the latter also writing the screenplay. Illumination and Universal Pictures produced the movie, which includes voice acting by Kumail Nanjiani, Elizabeth Banks, Keegan-Michael Key, Awkwafina, and Danny DeVito. The plot centers on a group of mallards attempting to persuade their cautious father to take part in an extraordinary journey from New England to Jamaica, passing through New York City.

Illumination revealed the project in February 2022, assigning Renner as director and White as screenwriter. Previously known for traditional animation like Ernest & Celestine (2012) and The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales... (2017), Renner adapted his minimalistic artistic approach for computer-generated imagery. Studio executive Chris Meledandri selected Renner to bring a personal creative vision, differing from Illumination's recent cinematic choices. John Powell created the soundtrack, his second time working with Illumination after The Lorax (2012).

Migration debuted at the VIEW Conference in Turin, Italy, on October 19, 2023, followed by a U.S. theatrical release on December 22 through Universal Pictures. Critics responded favorably, and the film earned $301.2 million globally.
