A 2023 American drama film, Asleep in My Palm was written and directed by Henry Nelson. Supporting actors Jared Abrahamson, Grant Harvey, Gus Birney, and David Aaron Baker also appear in the film.

Henry Nelson began developing the screenplay during his final year at Oberlin College, planning to shoot it with one of his professors in the lead role. He showed the script to his father Tim Blake Nelson, who agreed to both produce and act in the movie. Tim Blake Nelson obtained further financing from individuals involved in Old Henry (2021), and principal filming occurred in Oberlin, Ohio during early 2022. By March 2022, Henry Nelson had been confirmed as starring alongside Kerwin and the main supporting cast. This film represented Henry Nelson's first time directing and marked Kerwin’s debut in a feature film.

The movie premiered at the Woodstock Film Festival in 2023, followed by a limited release in U.S. theaters on March 1, 2024 through Strike Back Studios. Critics responded favorably, especially highlighting the acting of Tim Blake Nelson and Kerwin.
