Scream 7 represents a 2026 American slasher movie directed by Kevin Williamson and penned by Williamson along with Guy Busick. It serves as the follow-up to Scream VI (2023) and marks the seventh entry in the Scream film series. The movie features Neve Campbell, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, David Arquette, Matthew Lillard, and Courteney Cox returning to their roles from earlier films, while Isabel May, Anna Camp, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Mckenna Grace, Asa Germann, Celeste O'Connor, Sam Rechner, Mark Consuelos, Tim Simons, and Joel McHale also appear in starring roles. The storyline centers on Sidney Prescott, whose daughter Tatum becomes the target of a fresh Ghostface killer.

After Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett left Scream (2022) and Scream VI, Christopher Landon was brought on to direct the seventh Scream film. Nevertheless, the project underwent a creative overhaul following Spyglass Media Group dismissing star Melissa Barrera toward the end of 2023, prompting Jenna Ortega and Landon to exit shortly after. In March 2024, Campbell verified her return to the franchise after missing Scream VI, with Williamson appointed to direct Scream 7 after working as writer and producer on the initial movies in the series. Principal photography commenced in January 2025 and wrapped up that March.

Scream 7 made its debut at the Paramount Pictures studio lot on February 25, 2026, then opened in the U.S. on February 27 through Paramount Pictures. Although critics gave the film mostly negative feedback, it turned out to be the most financially successful movie in the franchise and the second most profitable slasher film in unadjusted earnings, collecting $214million globally against a production cost of $45million.
