One Night Only represents a 2026 American science fiction romantic comedy directed and produced by Will Gluck with screenplay written by Travis Braun. This high-concept storyline centers on two individuals repeatedly encountering each other during the singular night annually when unmarried persons may legally engage in sexual activity.
The motion picture debuted at Manhattan's SVA Theater on August 3, 2026 before receiving theatrical distribution in the United States on August 7, 2026 through Universal Pictures. Critics offered divided assessments, commending the acting ensemble while faulting the implementation of the central concept. The production suffered financial failure at cinemas, earning merely $25.1 million compared to its $25 million budget allocation.
