Masters of the Universe, alternatively titled He-Man and the Masters of the Universe in certain regions, represents a 2026 American science fantasy motion picture helmed by Travis Knight and penned by Chris Butler, Aaron Nee, Adam Nee, and David Callaham. This serves as the second live-action cinematic version of the Mattel franchise after the 1987 release. Nicholas Galitzine portrays Prince Adam (He-Man), who journeys back to his native world, Eternia, to fulfill his role as He-Man and defend his realm against Skeletor's malevolent influence (Jared Leto). Supporting cast members include Camila Mendes, Idris Elba, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Charlotte Riley, Kristen Wiig, and Morena Baccarin.

The project was unveiled in 2009 through Sony Pictures Entertainment with Escape Artists overseeing production. After various shifts involving writers, director, and casting, the ownership was moved to Netflix in 2022 before being acquired by Amazon MGM Studios in 2024. Principal filming took place in London, United Kingdom, spanning from January through June 2025.

The film debuted at the TCL Chinese Theatre located in Los Angeles, California, on May 18, 2026, followed by its U.S. release via Amazon MGM Studios on June 5, 2026, and global distribution handled by Sony Pictures Releasing International. Critics largely responded favorably to the movie, although it underachieved financially, earning $114 million across all markets against a production cost ranging between $170 and 200 million dollars.
