Supernatural horror

Evil Dead Burn represents a 2026 American supernatural horror motion picture penned and helmed by Sébastien Vaniček, who collaborated on the screenplay with Florent Bernard, and produced by Rob Tapert and franchise originator Sam Raimi. This production functions as a continuation of Evil Dead Rise (2023) and denotes the sixth entry within the Evil Dead cinematic universe. The movie features Souheila Yacoub portraying a young woman who turns to her in-laws for comfort after her husband's passing. When the family gathers at a remote residence, the assembly transforms into a "family reunion from hell" as individuals progressively transform into Deadites. Additional roles are played by Tandi Wright, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Erroll Shand, and Maude Davey.

A sixth Evil Dead production was declared in February 2024, with Vaniček assigned to direct a screenplay he co-authored with Florent Bernard. Raimi and Tapert assumed producer roles, with Ghost House Pictures overseeing the venture. In December 2024, Vaniček disclosed the title Evil Dead Burn along with an anticipated release in 2026. Principal photography commenced in May 2025, followed by filming that spanned from July through October of that year in New Zealand.

Evil Dead Burn premiered in American theaters on July 10 via Warner Bros. Pictures. Critics responded favorably to the film, and it earned $72.4 million globally against a $20 million budget.
