Shrek 5 represents an upcoming American animated fantasy comedy picture derived from the 1990 children's book Shrek! by William Steig. The film will be helmed by Walt Dohrn and Conrad Vernon, with screenplay contributions from Michael McCullers. It serves as sequel to Shrek Forever After (2010), marking the fifth primary entry within the Shrek series and the seventh in total. Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, and Cameron Diaz will return to voice the main character, Donkey, and Princess Fiona respectively, while Zendaya, Skyler Gisondo, and Marcello Hernández are set to join the cast.

Originally, a fifth Shrek movie was envisioned and declared following the release of Shrek 2 (2004), targeting a 2013 launch date. Nonetheless, then-DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg opted to conclude the franchise with the fourth film, causing abandonment of the fifth project. As a result, Shrek Forever After became the final entry in the series. During June 2016, Universal Pictures revealed plans to create a fifth Shrek film after its parent organization, NBCUniversal, acquired DreamWorks Animation. Further developments were reported from September 2016 to August 2026.

Shrek 5 is set for theatrical distribution in the United States on June 30, 2027, under the banner of Universal Pictures.
