Frozen 3 (formatted as Frozen III) represents an upcoming American animated musical fantasy production written and helmed by Jennifer Lee. Under the production banner of Walt Disney Animation Studios, this marks the third theatrical installment within the Frozen series, succeeding Frozen II. Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad, and Jonathan Groff will return to voice their characters from earlier productions. The movie will feature Anna and Kristoff's wedding ceremony, Anna's participation in a fresh adventure alongside Elsa, and the royal household's adoption of a new family member.
Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed plans for a third Frozen movie in February 2023, although Lee initially declared in June that she would not return as director. Lee ultimately chose to pen and direct the project in September 2024, with the majority of the original cast confirmed by November 2025.
Frozen 3 is set for theatrical distribution within the United States on November 24, 2027.
