Power Rangers is a 2017 American superhero film rooted in the Saban Entertainment franchise, which originated from the Japanese Super Sentai series. It marks the third entry in the Power Rangers movie lineup and serves as a reboot, drawing inspiration from "Day of the Dumpster," the pilot for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The movie was directed by Dean Israelite and written by John Gatins. starring Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Becky G, Ludi Lin, Bill Hader, Bryan Cranston, and Elizabeth Banks. Its plot centers on a group of teens who acquire new abilities and must defend Earth against a revived ancient danger. Creator Haim Saban returned to produce the film through his investment company.

The movie made its debut in Berlin, Germany on March 17, 2017, followed by a U.S. release a week later via Lionsgate Films. Critics gave it a mixed reception, and it failed to earn strong box office returns, grossing $142.5 million globally compared to its budget range of $100‒105 million. The original intention was to start a franchise with follow-ups, but those plans were dropped due to poor performance, prompting Saban to sell the rights to Hasbro. A new reboot was being considered, though it was abandoned after Hasbro ended its Netflix collaboration in 2024. In 2025, Hasbro announced development of a reboot as a Disney television series, but those plans were cancelled in 2026.
