Jigsaw is a 2017 American horror film that serves as a soft reboot and eighth entry in the Saw franchise, following Saw 3D: The Final Chapter from 2010. Directed by the Spierig Brothers and written by Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger, it stars Matt Passmore, Callum Keith Rennie, Clé Bennett, and Hannah Emily Anderson, with Tobin Bell reprising his role as John Kramer / Jigsaw. The story centers on a group of individuals who are trapped in a barn and must survive a series of lethal "games." At the same time, law enforcement investigates a string of murders matching the signature style of the legendary Jigsaw Killer, despite the killer having been deceased for nearly ten years.

Development started in 2013, with official filming beginning in 2016 under a budget of $10 million. The movie was distributed in the United States by Lionsgate Films on October 27, 2017. Reception was poor, and it earned a total of $104.2 million globally. After its release, Lionsgate commissioned Spiral: From the Book of Saw as a separate entry in the series, which premiered in 2021.
