Girls Trip is a 2017 American comedy film starring Regina Hall, Tiffany Haddish, Jada Pinkett Smith and Queen Latifah. The movie was directed by Malcolm D. Lee and written by Kenya Barris and Tracy Oliver, with a story developed by the writing team and Erica Rivinoja. The script draws from personal experiences of the creators with their own female friendships. Four companions journey to New Orleans for the Essence Music Festival to renew their bond after an extended separation.

The film made its debut in June 2017 and earned numerous accolades and nominations, particularly at the 49th NAACP Image Awards, where Haddish's acting garnered widespread recognition. A follow-up has been in progress for some time; in March 2025, a producer confirmed that the sequel had finished scripting and that all four original actresses would reprise their roles.
