Licorice Pizza is a 2021 American coming-of-age comedy drama film directed, written, produced, and shot by Paul Thomas Anderson. The movie features Alana Haim and Cooper Hoffman in their first film roles, joined by a supporting cast that includes Sean Penn, Tom Waits, Bradley Cooper, and Benny Safdie. Set in 1973, the story centers on the connection between a teenage actor (Hoffman) and a young woman (Haim).

The film premiered in limited theaters in the United States on November 26, 2021 before expanding to a wider release on December 25. It earned $33.3 million domestically against its $40 million budget. Critics praised the film, leading to three Academy Award nominations at the 94th ceremony: Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay. This marked Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's first fully produced, marketed, and distributed film to be nominated for Best Picture since Rain Man in 1988.

Additional honors include three National Board of Review awards (Best Film), being named one of the top films of 2021 by the American Film Institute, four Golden Globe nominations at the 79th ceremony (including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy), and a BAFTA Award for Best Original Screenplay.
