Infinite 2021
Infinite is a 2021 American science fiction action film that premiered digitally on Paramount+ in June 10, 2021, after being postponed from its planned August 2020 theatrical launch because of the COVID-19 outbreak. The movie was directed by Antoine Fuqua, with a screenplay written by Ian Shorr based on a story by Todd Stein, which originated from D. Eric Maikranz's 2009 novel The Reincarnationist Papers. Starring Mark Wahlberg, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sophie Cookson, Jason Mantzoukas, Rupert Friend, Toby Jones, and Dylan O'Brien, the film garnered poor critic reception. Reviewers found fault with both acting and script, drawing comparisons to The Matrix. At the Golden Raspberry Awards, it earned three nominations, including Worst Picture.
