Tekken 8 is a 2024 fighting game developed by Bandai Namco Studios and Arika and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It marks the eighth main entry (and tenth overall) in the Tekken franchise, as well as the first to launch on home consoles rather than arcade machines. Internal testing began in July 2023, with the full release occurring on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on January 26, 2024.

The core narrative mode, called The Dark Awakens, unfolds six months after the events of the previous game. It centers around the ultimate clash between protagonist Jin Kazama and antagonist Kazuya Mishima, while also introducing Reina, the late Heihachi Mishima’s daughter. Jun Kazama, Jin's mother, makes her first canonical return in Tekken 2. Another story mode, Unforgettable Echoes, explores the past of Lidia Sobieska, Eddy Gordo, and Yoshimitsu as they uncover secrets tied to the Mishima bloodline and witness Heihachi's revival following his loss to Kazuya.

The game uses Unreal Engine 5 and builds upon its predecessor with enhanced combat features. Tekken 8 adds new systems such as the "Heat" mechanic and "Tornado" attacks. An updated online component, Arcade Quest, offers tournaments, arcade-style elements, avatar customization, and a unique in-game currency. Upon launch, Tekken 8 garnered widespread critical acclaim for its visual design, storyline, progression within the series, and intense action. This title also represents the final project Katsuhiro Harada worked on with Bandai Namco before leaving the company in 2025.
