Splatoon 3: Side Order is a 2024 downloadable content expansion for the single-player mode of Splatoon 3, a third-person shooter video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch.

The DLC stars Agent 8, the main character from Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion (2018), who becomes trapped within the featureless Memverse, a virtual reality designed by Marina of the musical group Off the Hook. Joined by a drone version of Pearl, Marina’s co-star, Agent 8 discovers Order, an artificial intelligence that aims to forcibly extract souls from the real world to eliminate free will and create total order. With help from Marina, Pearl, and another individual named Acht, Agent 8 climbs a thirty-floor tower in an effort to destroy Order.

Work on Side Order started soon after Splatoon 3 released in 2022. The creative team drew inspiration from the idea of "order" as a contrast to Splatoon 3's focus on "chaos." They aimed to redefine typical single-player campaign structures, such as making the player’s character die result in losing all progress during that climb and allowing players to buy upgrades for future attempts. Side Order received positive feedback from critics, who commended its visual style and how it merged Splatoon's mechanics with roguelite elements. However, some players criticized the DLC for lacking variety in levels over time.
