Broken Roads is a 2024 video game developed by independent studio Drop Bear Bytes and published by Versus Evil. This post-apocalyptic computer role-playing game takes place in Western Australia's Wheatbelt region. The title features a 'Moral Compass' system that reacts to player decisions, similar to non-traditional RPGs like Disco Elysium. It launched on April 10, 2024 for Windows, PlayStation 4, and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Critics gave the game mixed reviews after its release. In February 2025, Drop Bear Bytes entered administration with millions owed to creditors. Broken Roads failed commercially.
