Batman: Arkham Shadow is a 2024 action-adventure game developed by Camouflaj and published by Oculus Studios. It marks the second virtual reality entry in the Batman: Arkham franchise, following Batman: Arkham VR, and serves as a narrative follow-up to Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate from 2013. The story takes place six months after Arkham Origins, portraying an older but less experienced Batman trying to prevent the Rat King from destroying Gotham on July Fourth. The game also explores Batman's shift from vengeance to hope, along with Bruce Wayne’s evolving bond with Harvey Dent, who eventually becomes Two-Face. Released for Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S on October 22, 2024, Arkham Shadow received widespread critical praise.
